May is always a busy time for our little family. Not only do we have multiple immediate and extended family birthdays, but it is also my birthday, mother's day and our anniversary (the last 3 are all within a week of each other.) Life is crazy and we have been so fortunate to celebrate here is sunny CA.
Our anniversary is May 18th and we decided this year to go to the Fleetwood Mac concert at the STAPLES Center last night. It was AMAZING. Having grown up loving the sounds of Lindsay Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Cristine McVie it was a pre-requisite for me to marry someone who would go just as crazy for the "Mac Attack". Luckily, Bridger's parents schooled him in the ways of crazy man Mick Fleetwood and John McVie and he was game the moment we met.
We trekked to the STAPLES Center, ignoring the blatant Lakers paraphernalia littered everywhere, and settled in among our new friends. Everyone around us was 45-55 and drinking brewskies. The kind, middle-aged gentleman next to me thought it would be sweet to get real comfortable and take off his shoes. The smell of yeast and sweaty socks was intoxicating. Other than that, we had a blast. Stevie Nicks must have made a deal with the devil because she looks exactly the same. Same witch clothes, gold shimmer shawls, long hair and crazy dancing on stage. I would have been disappointed is she had done anything different.

We thought we would introduce our So Cal neighbors to our favorite football team.
With finals behind me, Lauren with some vacation days to use up we headed off to Lake Powell with both of our families, two water ski boats, one house boat and 16 happy boaters.

Our Good friends the Watkins came to visit us we ate tasty food and played at the beach even doing a little rock climbing. We had a great weekend and we are thankful for their friendship.
Court's surprise birthday party was fun, we had a BBQ and lots of swimming.
We went to "Mormon night" at the Dodger's game it was lots of fun, but the garlic fries and a Dodger dog were the highlight of the night.
We have also been busy at school and work this summer. Lauren has worked so hard at the Clinical Trials Unit, and I am just happy to have some hard classes behind me.
